Committee Approves 25% Compensation for Four Atrocity Cases

RANCHI – Deputy Commissioner Kumud Sahay chaired the district vigilance and monitoring committee meeting to review cases under SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act.

Project Director ITDA Jugnu Minj presented four cases before the committee. “Each victim will receive 25% of the total compensation amount,” stated a senior official.

Compensation Framework

The committee approved immediate relief measures. “The initial payment of Rs 25,000 will help victims manage urgent needs,” explained an administrative source.

SDPO Vikas Anand Languri attended the crucial meeting. “We’re ensuring swift processing of all cases,” noted a committee member.

A district official added, “Regular monitoring ensures proper implementation of the Prevention of Atrocities Act provisions.”
