MEDININAGAR – Palamu Deputy Commissioner Shashi Ranjan has sought explanations from District Supply Officer (DSO) Preeti Kisku and District Cooperative Officer (DCO) Umesh Kumar Sinha for their absence at an important state-level event attended by Finance Minister Radha Krishna Kishore.

The program, held on December 15 at Kishunpur PACS in Patan block, marked the launch of paddy procurement for the Kharif marketing season 2024-25. Finance Minister Radha Krishna Kishore attended the event to inaugurate the paddy procurement drive.
Earlier, DC Shashi Ranjan had instructed officials to invite MPs, MLAs, and local representatives to ensure the program’s smooth conduct. However, both the DSO and DCO were absent, raising concerns about their responsibilities.
