MEDININAGAR – Acting on the directives of Municipal Commissioner Javed Hussain, the municipal corporation team conducted an anti-encroachment drive on Saturday. The operation focused on clearing encroachments near Medini Rai Medical College Hospital, particularly around Bhagat Singh Chowk.
Using JCB machines, the team successfully removed illegal structures obstructing roads. Encroachments were also cleared from Kund Mohalla Road, restoring smooth traffic flow.
On Hamidganj Road, located behind the hospital, vendors who had set up carts causing road blockages were issued stern warnings. Officials stated that failure to comply with the removal order would result in strict action against the violators.
The anti-encroachment team included Assistant Municipal Commissioner Biswajit Mahato, City Manager Mohammad Shahid Hussain, Samita Bhagat, and sanitation officers such as Ishtiyaq Sah, Seran Khan, and Avinash Kumar.
Municipal authorities emphasized that the drive aims to ensure free movement of traffic and pedestrians. They also urged residents and shopkeepers to refrain from encroaching on public roads to avoid future penalties.
