JAMSHEDPUR – Jharkhand Education Minister Ramdas Soren, immediately after assuming office, has moved into active mode. On Friday, he held a meeting with departmental officials at the Jamshedpur Pari Bhavan. He issued clear directives to ensure quality education reaches all students.
Following the meeting, Minister Soren visited the CM School of Excellence located in Sakchi. Speaking to the media, he promised that any existing issues within the education department would be resolved within 15 days.
Focus on Dropout Rates
During his visit, Soren expressed concern over the high number of student dropouts observed in various schools. He instructed the department to identify the reasons behind this issue. Additionally, he directed officials to gather detailed reports from parents of such students and submit them for further action.
Expansion of CM Schools of Excellence
The minister emphasized the importance of the CM Schools of Excellence, calling it the Chief Minister’s “dream project.” Soren announced plans to expand these schools to 4000 across the state over the next five years. He stressed that the initiative would significantly improve the education infrastructure in Jharkhand.
Soren reiterated his commitment to recruiting new teachers at the earliest to address shortages in schools.
