ADITYAPUR – Saraikela-Kharsawan police arrested three women and seized brown sugar worth Rs 7 lakh during a raid in Adityapur’s Muslim Basti.
The operation followed a confidential tip-off.
Meanwhile, SP Mukesh Kumar Lunayat led the investigation.
Police recovered different quantities from each suspect.
Moreover, Rahima Khatun possessed 20.37 grams of the substance.
Furthermore, Najmunnisha had 6.35 grams in her possession.
Additionally, police found 8.71 grams with Shahida Khatun.
The main accused has links to previous drug cases.
Besides, her husband Saddam Hussein faced similar charges earlier.
“Drug trafficking remains our top priority,” stated a senior police official.

The police will invoke strict anti-drug laws.
