JAMSHEDPUR – D.B.M.S. College of Education celebrated the birth anniversary of Dr. Rajendra Prasad, India’s first President, with a vibrant program honoring his contributions to the nation.

The event began with a ceremonial lamp-lighting by Secretary Shrimat Shripriya Dharmarajan, Joint Secretary Sudha Dilip, Principal Dr. Juhi Samarpita, Vice Principal Dr. Monica Uppal, and faculty members. A special assembly organized under the guidance of teacher Poonam Kumari also marked the occasion.

Principal Dr. Juhi Samarpita shared insightful stories about Dr. Prasad’s dedication to social and cultural values, even during his tenure as President. Students participated with heartfelt tributes, including a video presentation and PowerPoint detailing his biography and achievements.

The program featured poetry recitations by students Poonam, Alka, Rani, and Anisha. A student team, led by Meraj Antara, Diya, Priyanka, Neha, and Madhuri, managed the proceedings efficiently.

The celebration concluded with reflections on Dr. Prasad’s life, emphasizing his academic brilliance, patriotism, and pivotal role in shaping modern India. The management, faculty, and staff worked collectively to ensure the event’s success.
