JAMSHEDPUR – The investigation into the murder of Tony Singh on November 15 near Uma Tiffin on Dimna Road, under Ulidih police jurisdiction, has gained renewed momentum. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishore Kaushal is set to review the case and may order the re-remand of previously apprehended suspects to gather crucial evidence.

The murder weapon, a pistol allegedly used in the crime, remains missing despite the arrest of Avinash Singh, one of the named suspects. Avinash was earlier remanded but has now been sent to jail after surrendering in court. His lack of cooperation and critical gaps in the investigation have drawn sharp criticism from the SSP, who also expressed displeasure over the failure to apprehend other fugitives linked to the case.

In a significant directive, the SSP has instructed law enforcement to obtain arrest warrants and initiate property seizure proceedings against absconding suspects. Police are particularly focused on Nitish Poddar, who is believed to be hiding in Rajasthan. A specialized team has been deployed to track and capture him at the earliest.
