South Eastern Railway Announces Train Changes Due To Development Works

JAMSHEDPUR – South Eastern Railway (SER) has announced significant updates to its train operations, including the extension of special trains and cancellations caused by developmental works in the Chakradharpur division.

Extension Of Special Trains

Train number 02877 Ranchi-Anand Vihar Special will operate from December 6 to December 27, 2024.

Train number 02878 Anand Vihar-Ranchi Special will run from December 8 to December 29, 2024.

Cancellations And Rescheduling

On December 3, 2024, the following trains have been canceled:

Train 12262 Howrah-CSMT Mumbai Duronto Express is rescheduled to depart Howrah at 10:45 AM on December 3, 2024, instead of 5:45 AM.

Additional Changes In Jharkhand

Train numbers 18601/18602 Tatanagar-Hatia-Tatanagar Express and 08151/08152 Tatanagar-Barkakana-Tatanagar Passenger will not run on December 1 and December 4, 2024.

Train number 18428 Anand Vihar-Puri Express will depart three hours late from Anand Vihar Terminal on December 1, 2024.

Train number 22892 Ranchi-Howrah Intercity Express will change its route on December 5, 2024, bypassing its usual stations via Kotshila, Rajabera, Jamuniatand, Adra, Medinipur, and Kharagpur.

These adjustments are being implemented to facilitate infrastructure development in the region, ensuring smoother operations in the future.
