The suspects, identified as Mohammad Sarik and Sartaj Ansari, were apprehended with contraband valued at approximately ₹6 lakh. Police also confiscated three mobile phones: a OnePlus smartphone, a Vivo device, and a Nokia keypad mobile.
During interrogation, the suspects revealed that they were involved in selling brown sugar under pressure from Saddam Khan, a notorious drug dealer currently in jail.
