JAMSHEDPUR – On the eve of vote counting for the Jharkhand Assembly Election 2024, the district police, under the directives of SSP Kishore Kaushal, conducted flag marches across all police station areas. The initiative aimed to ensure law and order and prevent any post-counting disturbances.
Police personnel marched on foot through key areas, including Sakchi Market, Main Road, and Kashidih, engaging directly with residents to urge calm and cooperation. Similar flag marches were conducted in Bistupur, Kadma, Sonari, Jugsalai, Bagbera, Parsudih, Sundernagar, Burmamines, Telco, Govindpur, Birsanagar, Sidhgora, Golmuri, Sitaramdera, Mango, Azadnagar, Ulidih, MGM, and other regions.
The marches emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and warned against any disruptive behavior after the announcement of results. Authorities have assured strict action against those attempting to disturb the democratic process.
