JAMSHEDPUR – Dr. Ajoy Kumar has stated that respecting the people’s decision is vital in a democracy.

Dr. Ajoy Kumar, Congress candidate from Jamshedpur East, released a statement on Saturday, expressing his acceptance of the election results. He congratulated BJP candidate Purnima Das for her victory and stated that the people’s verdict must always be respected.

He acknowledged the need for introspection and announced that a detailed review of the campaign’s shortcomings would guide future strategies. Reaffirming his commitment to the people of Jamshedpur, Dr. Ajoy promised to continue working for their welfare to the best of his ability.

Dr. Ajoy praised the Hemant Soren-led government for gaining the people’s trust and said the opportunity to further work for the state’s progress is significant. “I believe the government will focus on the welfare of common people, women, and the youth while driving development in Jharkhand,” he remarked.

He also stressed ensuring that the benefits of government welfare schemes reach the last person in society. Expressing gratitude, Dr. Ajoy thanked voters, party workers, media personnel, and all others who supported him during the election process.
