JAMSHEDPUR – Veteran blood donor Bhubaneswar Singh achieved his 84th voluntary donation, inspiring many in the city.
Bhubaneswar Singh, a 61-year-old resident of Jamshedpur, marked a milestone in his journey as a blood donor.
At the Jamshedpur Blood Center, Singh made his 84th voluntary and safe donation, maintaining his commitment to this noble cause.
Singh, a former Tata Steel employee and senior member of St. John Ambulance’s Jamshedpur unit, expressed his gratitude to his family and supporters.
He remarked, “If my health supports me, I am determined to achieve 100 donations and become a centurion.”
A Family’s Support and Recognition
Singh attributes his success to the encouragement of his wife Pushpa Devi, who accompanied him during this donation.
Pushpa Devi has been a pillar of support, uplifting Singh throughout his blood donation journey.
Their only daughter, alongside friends and well-wishers, also played a crucial role in his success.
After the donation, Singh was honored with a certificate of appreciation and a memento by Team PSF and the Jamshedpur Blood Center.
Community Leaders and Organizations Join
The event was attended by several prominent figures, including Jamshedpur Blood Center GM Sanjay Choudhary and Dr. Nirjala Jha.
Technicians Suryamani Tudu and Ravi Shankar Patro, along with Team PSF Director Arijit Sarkar, were also present to celebrate the occasion.
Singh extended his heartfelt thanks to organizations like Team PSF, BBDIA, Red Cross, and the Jamshedpur Blood Center.
He stated, “The love from Jamshedpur residents and blessings from the divine have brought me this far.”
