JAMSHEDPUR – The first phase of Jharkhand Assembly elections witnessed varying voter turnout across East Singhbhum constituencies, with rural areas showing stronger participation.
Baharagora emerged as the frontrunner in voter participation.
Meanwhile, Ghatsila demonstrated robust democratic engagement with a 75.83% turnout.
Furthermore, Potka constituency maintained the trend with 73.55% of voters exercising their franchise.
However, urban areas showed relatively lower participation rates.
In addition, Jamshedpur East registered 57.86% voter turnout.
Moreover, Jamshedpur West recorded 56.82% participation.
"The increased voter turnout in our stronghold areas clearly indicates an overwhelming mandate in our favor," remarked a senior Congress strategist.
On the other hand, infrastructure developments have strengthened voter confidence.
