Purnima Sahu warns on illegal immigration, vows to fight for local issues

JAMSHEDPUR – BJP candidate Purnima Sahu is actively campaigning across Jamshedpur East, rallying community support and addressing local issues as she advocates for the protection of “Roti, Beti, Maati” (bread, daughters, and land).
Through public meetings, door-to-door outreach, and community gatherings, Sahu has highlighted the importance of BJP’s role in accelerating Jharkhand’s development.
Warning against unchecked Bangladeshi immigration, she stated, “If BJP does not secure power, the existence of our resources and cultural identity could be threatened, as immigration endangers Hindu and tribal populations.”
Sahu’s campaign journey took her through areas like Baridih, TOP Ground, Nagadungri, and Vidyapati Nagar, with her supporters including Sanjeev Singh, Dinesh Kumar, and Ruby Jha.
She also attended a Sikh community meeting in Sakchi Gurdwara, where she received strong backing from Sikh leaders.
In another event, Sahu visited the Bhuiyandih Gurudwara to honor Sant Namdev Jayanti and later joined Union Minister Annapurna Devi at Agrico Ground, where she shared information on the Go-Go Didi scheme for women’s empowerment.
Addressing a large crowd in Sakchi, Sahu pledged that “Jamshedpur East will remain a BJP stronghold, and there is no place for infiltrators here.”
She assured the audience of her commitment to transformative development, adding that she is ready to fight with the spirit of Rani Lakshmibai if needed.
