RAMGARH – A tragic accident disrupted the Sohrai festival in Ramgarh’s Pipro Jarha Gola area, where a speeding Bolero ran over a group of villagers.

The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. as the villagers were celebrating when the vehicle, coming from Rajrappa, struck them. At least seven to eight people sustained injuries and were immediately taken to Ramgarh Sadar Hospital for treatment. Enraged by the incident, villagers apprehended the driver and reportedly beat him before police arrived on the scene.

Following the accident, the locals blocked the road, demanding strict action against the driver. Authorities are working to clear the road while an investigation into the accident is underway.
