Bihar Association to Host Dinkar Jayanti and 50-Year Celebration at Rajendra Vidyalaya

JAMSHEDPUR – The literary and cultural wing of Bihar Association, Dinkar Parishad, will celebrate its Golden Jubilee along with Dinkar Jayanti on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 5 p.m. at Rajendra Vidyalaya Auditorium.
The organization, established in memory of national poet Ramdhari Singh ‘Dinkar’, has long served as a cultural hub for the city’s intellectual community. It runs a Central Library that caters to the literary and academic needs of local residents.
Meanwhile, the Golden Jubilee will mark fifty years of Dinkar Parishad’s journey in promoting literature and culture. The celebration will also pay homage to Dinkar’s poetic legacy and contribution to Indian thought.
Renowned Hindi poet, lyricist, and thinker Dr. Buddhinath Mishra will grace the occasion as the chief guest. On the other hand, Dinkar’s grandson, Ritwik Udayan, will attend as a special guest to honor his grandfather’s memory.
In addition, the event will see participation from eminent local writers, teachers, and cultural figures. Hundreds of students from schools and colleges across the city are also expected to attend, reflecting the enduring influence of Dinkar’s literary ideals.
