JAMSHEDPUR – Congress leader Sachin Pilot held a large rally in Jamshedpur, supporting INDI Alliance candidate Dr. Ajoy Kumar.
During his visit, Pilot led a roadshow beginning at the Sakchi roundabout and proceeding through Agrico Signal, Golmuri Chowk, and RD Tata roundabout, ending at the Sakchi No. 9 roundabout. Throughout the route, Congress supporters welcomed him enthusiastically, cheering and waving party flags.
Pilot, speaking with media, voiced strong criticism of the BJP government, accusing it of “discriminatory policies” against Jharkhand. According to Pilot, funds amounting to over Rs 1.25 lakh crore meant for Jharkhand are being withheld, hindering state development.
Pilot expressed optimism regarding public support for the INDI Alliance, citing trust gained through welfare efforts in recent years. He emphasized, "The people of Jharkhand are increasingly showing their confidence in the INDI Alliance," and noted the government’s work in addressing public needs over the past five years.
Addressing BJP’s priorities, Pilot commented that the party “only remembers NRC, temples, and cow protection at election time,” and fails to address key issues like inflation, unemployment, and agriculture. He suggested that these concerns are being overlooked by the BJP.
Pilot further remarked that the Lok Sabha election results revealed growing dissatisfaction with BJP’s policies, claiming, “The arrogance of the BJP was shattered in the last elections.” He predicted that Jharkhand voters would express their discontent with the ruling party by voting against it.
