JAMSHEDPUR – The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) gears up for a significant role in Jharkhand’s political landscape.

The Jharkhand State RJD has declared its intention to contest 22 seats in the upcoming assembly elections.

Moreover, this decision emerged from a crucial meeting of the party’s Parliamentary Board in Ranchi.

Former minister Suresh Paswan led the strategic gathering at the RJD office.

"We are committed to playing a pivotal role in these elections," stated Sanjay Kumar Singh Yadav, the state president.

Furthermore, the party’s national president, Lalu Prasad Yadav, will oversee candidate and constituency selection.

Interestingly, several key leaders and current state ministers attended the meeting.

Among the attendees were Satyanand Bhokta and Dr. Manoj Kumar, both serving in the Jharkhand government.

On the other hand, other prominent figures like Anita Yadav and Rajkumar Yadav also participated.

"Our focus is on contesting these 22 seats effectively," emphasized Singh Yadav.
