JAMSHEDPUR – BJP leader Vikas Singh was arrested from his residence at Ashiyana Anantara in Mango by local police on Tuesday.

According to Singh, he was preparing to visit the Hanuman temple, as part of his routine, when he found police waiting outside his door.

When Singh asked the officers for the reason behind his arrest, they advised him to speak with their superior.

Singh alleged that for the past five years, he and his family have been subjected to mental harassment under political pressure from Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta.

He claimed the district administration has surrendered to the minister’s influence and is suppressing his movement.

Singh also stated that if bail is denied, he will continue his fight against Banna Gupta from jail.
