JAMSHEDPUR – In the past 24 hours, Jharkhand experienced light to moderate rainfall in various locations, with Khunti recording the highest rainfall at 48.8 mm.

Seraikela registered the state’s highest temperature at 37.3°C, while Ranchi recorded the lowest minimum temperature.

According to meteorologist Abhishek Anand from Ranchi, the combination of moist air from the southwest and dry air from the north is creating conditions for thunderstorms and lightning.

Meanwhile, a cyclonic circulation over the Bay of Bengal is expected to bring more rain.

The weather department has predicted heavy rainfall with thunderstorms for Ranchi, Ramgarh, Bokaro, Hazaribagh, and several other districts by Wednesday evening.

Garhwa, Palamu, and other districts may see scattered rain with thunderstorms.

Scattered rainfall is likely to continue across northern, central, and southern regions on October 10 and 11, with clear weather expected from October 12.
