Conclave Promotes Sustainable Transformation Through Tribal Entrepreneurship

XLRI Jamshedpur’s SEC-7 marks a milestone in fostering tribal entrepreneurship, engaging over 200 stakeholders in a dialogue for sustainable transformation.

JAMSHEDPUR – The seventh edition of the Social Entrepreneurship Conclave, hosted by XLRI Jamshedpur, successfully wrapped up today, uniting students, tribal community members, entrepreneurs, experts, and faculty to discuss “Tribal Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Transformation.”

The conclave was powered by Team SIGMA-oikos and the Centre for Inclusiveness, featuring key insights on supporting indigenous enterprises.

Pravir Krishna’s keynote underscored the significance of tailored strategies for tribal enterprise development, highlighting successful government initiatives.

Panel discussions, led by Prof. Sunil Kumar Sarangi and featuring luminaries like Akshay Soni and Father Joseph Marianus Kujur, delved into optimizing government and corporate support for tribal entrepreneurship.

Tribal entrepreneurs shared their journey, focusing on innovation and overcoming financial and stereotype challenges to achieve success.

The Catalyst, a pitch competition for social startups, saw over 25 teams present their ideas, judged by experts for their potential societal impact.

Doman Tudu clinched the inaugural XL-JESEY Award for his efforts in linking tribal traditions with broader markets, alongside special mentions for Manju Meena and Dr. Manisha Oraon for their impactful work.

The awards, presented by XLRI dignitaries, underscored the institute’s dedication to inclusivity and national progress.
