JAMSHEDPUR – DBMS B.Ed. College celebrated Mahishasurmardini with great fervor as part of Navaratri festivities.

The event began with a ceremonial lamp lighting by college dignitaries.

College patron Mrs. Neelkanthan and President B. Chandrasekhar were among the attendees.

Moreover, Secretary Sripriya and Principal Dr. Juhi Samarpita participated in the inauguration.

President Chandrasekhar emphasized Durgaotsav’s symbolism of good triumphing over evil.

He encouraged embracing the qualities of Rajas, Tamas, and Satvik.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Neelkanthan highlighted the historical significance of women’s power in India.

The program commenced with a Charan Vandana performance by students and faculty.

Additionally, students presented the scientific rationale behind Durga Puja through a PowerPoint presentation.

A captivating Mahishasur Mardani dance was performed by several students.

The event also featured a traditional Dhunuchi dance and Bengali dance performances.

Furthermore, a Nav Durga dance showcased the nine forms of the goddess.

Devotional bhajans dedicated to the Mother Goddess filled the auditorium with spiritual fervor.

The success of the celebration was attributed to the collaborative efforts of college teachers.

Music teacher Mrs. Amrita Chaudhary orchestrated the entire program.

College employees contributed significantly to the auditorium’s decoration.

The event highlighted the college’s commitment to cultural preservation and education.

This celebration provided students with a platform to showcase their talents and cultural knowledge.
