JAMSHEDPUR – The growing influence of land mafia has once again come to light in the Tamulia area near Jamshedpur, where landowner Hareram Singh is being obstructed from constructing on his legally purchased land.
Singh, who purchased 231 acres of land in Tamulia for ₹4 crore in 2011, holds all necessary legal documents, including the registry and mutation papers.
However, when he attempted to begin construction on his property, local land mafia members intervened, threatening him and preventing the work.
Singh claims that the local police are siding with the land mafia, further escalating the situation.
Fearing for his safety, Singh has appealed to higher authorities for justice and protection from the land mafia.
He has urged the administration to take immediate action and ensure his right to use his property is upheld.
