JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel Plant’s GORC and TDR canteen workers have successfully negotiated their annual bonus agreement, ensuring a timely payout for the festive season.
The bonus agreement was finalized on Tuesday after negotiations.
A total of 41 canteen employees will benefit from this deal.
Under the terms, workers will receive an 8.33% bonus on their wages.
The minimum bonus amount has been set at ₹11,800 for eligible employees.
Meanwhile, the maximum bonus payout will be ₹20,600 for higher-earning staff.
Moreover, the company has committed to a swift disbursement of funds.
Employees can expect the bonus to be credited to their bank accounts on October 3.
The agreement was signed by representatives from both management and the workers’ union.
On behalf of the management, Jubin Palia, Rajesh Jha, Todiwala, and Kripal Singh were present.
Furthermore, the union was represented by its President Sanjeev Chaudhary Tunnu.
Other union signatories included General Secretary Satish Singh and members Shahnawaz Alam and Sanjeev Tiwari.
