JAMSHEDPUR – Saryu Roy, MLA from Jamshedpur East, is seeking legal counsel regarding Dhullu Mahto’s alleged defamatory remarks.
Roy claims Mahto and Dinesh Kumar held a joint press conference on Monday.
During this event, Mahto reportedly used offensive language against Roy.
The MLA asserts this behavior reflects Mahto’s character.
Roy states Mahto is convicted in 4 criminal cases.
Additionally, there are approximately 45 ongoing FIRs against the MP.
"I raised these issues during the Dhanbad Lok Sabha election," Roy noted.
He accuses Mahto of seizing 200 acres from small farmers in Baghmar
a area.
The land in question is located in Ladydumer and Daridha villages.
Roy alleges Mahto has built a high prison-like wall around the seized property.
"Mahto severely harassed his own relative Ashok Mahto and family," Roy claimed.
The MP allegedly bulldozed crops on illegally occupied land.
Roy assured affected farmers he would help reclaim their land.
He promised to seek justice for the atrocities committed against Mahto’s relatives.
Notably, 95% of the affected farmers belong to the backward Teli community.
Roy suggests Mahto’s recent outburst is due to election-related grudges.
"Those he harassed have contacted me," Roy stated.
These individuals plan to visit Jamshedpur and expose Mahto’s actions.
Roy intends to file a lawsuit in the appropriate court.
"I will consult lawyers tomorrow regarding legal action," he concluded.
