BJP’s Kolhan-Level ‘Parivartan Yatra’ Concludes Successfully

Massive turnout as opposition leaders criticize Hemant Soren government

Key Points:

• Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi accuses Jharkhand of discriminating Odia speakers

• Marandi, Munda, and Koda rally support for BJP’s ‘winds of change’ in the state

• Former CM Champai Soren’s absence due to ill health disappoints supporters

CHAIBASA – The Bharatiya Janata Party’s ‘Parivartan Yatra’ in Kolhan region concluded with a grand rally at Tata College ground in Chaibasa.

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, the chief guest, addressed gatherings in three Odia-majority constituencies during his two-day visit.

"The Jharkhand government is discriminating against Odia speakers," Majhi alleged at the rally.

He urged Odia-speaking residents to support BJP in the upcoming assembly elections.

Meanwhile, state BJP president Babulal Marandi emphasized the need for change in Jharkhand.

"The winds of transformation are blowing across the state," former Union Minister Arjun Munda declared.

Ex-Chief Minister Madhu Koda also addressed the gathering, explaining the rationale behind the ‘Parivartan Yatra’.

However, former CM Champai Soren’s absence due to ill health disappointed many supporters.

"We expected to hear from Champai ji today," a local party worker expressed.

The rally saw a significant turnout, though observers noted a predominance of non-local leaders.

"The crowds were impressive, but will they translate into votes?" pondered a political analyst.

As the assembly elections approach, the BJP’s campaign impact in Kolhan remains to be seen.

"The response has been mixed, but we’re optimistic," a party spokesperson stated.

The ‘Parivartan Yatra’ marks BJP’s efforts to regain power in Jharkhand ahead of the polls.
