– PSF and KPS Mango work on various social responsibility programs during Durga Puja.
JAMSHEDPUR – In celebration of Durga Puja, PSF and KPS Mango launched two major humanitarian campaigns on September 30, 2024.
One initiative saw PSF’s team distributing essential dry ration to 250 tribal and Sabar children near the Ramakrishna Sharada Ashram in Metayala, 40 kilometers from Jamshedpur.
The supplies, enough to last six months, included rice, lentils, sugar, salt, and other essential food and hygiene items.
This outreach forms part of the ongoing social responsibility work led by KPS Mango’s students and teachers, especially Principal and teachers actively involved in the mission.
Meanwhile, PSF’s blood donation campaign kicked off in Kolkata, where PSF volunteers Rajan Banerjee and Mrinal Saha traveled to donate SDP (Single Donor Platelets) for a Jamshedpur resident named Arshnandan, who is undergoing treatment in the city.
PSF Director Arijit Sarkar, along with several other volunteers, actively participated in the food distribution event.
Those involved in the campaign included prominent members such as Pulak Kumar Sengupta, Deepak Kumar Mitra, and Sneha Sarkar, among many others.
Through these twin campaigns, the organizations aim to uplift both the urban and rural underprivileged communities in their own unique ways, ensuring both health and nutrition.
