CHAIBASA – Kalpana Soren initiated the ‘Maiya Samman Yatra’ in Tatanagar, paying homage to martyr Gangaram Kalundia and addressing gatherings in Manjhari and Kumardungi blocks.
In her speech, Soren emphasized Kolhan’s rich history of resistance against oppressors.
She praised the region’s unwavering spirit and its refusal to compromise.
Moreover, Soren highlighted the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha’s efforts to uplift the marginalized.
She drew attention to Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s initiatives for women’s empowerment.
Furthermore, Soren mentioned the government’s push to include the Ho language in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution.
The ‘Maiya Samman Yojana’, she explained, aims to strengthen women’s position in society.
However, Soren claimed that the BJP is attempting to obstruct this scheme.
She asserted that despite apparent isolation, Hemant Soren has widespread support across the state.
In addition, Soren criticized the central government for withholding funds from Jharkhand.
She accused the opposition of wanting Kolhan to compromise its principles.
Meanwhile, Majhgaon MLA Niral Purty stressed the importance of unity in the upcoming elections.
