JAMSHEDPUR – DBMS College of Education’s B.Ed. students, faculty, and staff have returned from an enlightening three-day educational tour to Puri and Bhubaneswar.
The journey began with a visit to the historic Konark Sun Temple.
Students witnessed a captivating light and sound show, learning about Konark’s architectural marvel.
In Bhubaneswar, the group explored the Dhauli Shanti Stupa, linked to Emperor Ashoka’s spiritual transformation.
Meanwhile, the Udayagiri caves offered insights into ancient meditation and living spaces.
The trip included a spiritual stop at Puri’s famous Jagannath Temple.
Students enjoyed leisure time at the beach, experiencing coastal beauty firsthand.
Moreover, the group visited the ancient Lingaraj Temple, seeking blessings and viewing its self-manifested deity.
The tour also covered Chandrabhaga beach and Pipli’s exquisite handicraft market.
Principal Dr. Juhi Samarpita led the educational expedition, accompanied by faculty members.
Notable staff included Dr. Monica Uppal, Dr. Surina Bhullar Singh, and Mrs. Pamela Ghosh Dutta.
