JAMSHEDPUR – Swami Sevātmananda Maharaj, a respected member of Bharat Sevashram Sangha, passed away due to a heart attack.
Swami Sevātmananda Maharaj, also known as Ajit Maharaj, died on Tuesday at 4 PM in Tata Main Hospital.
He had been associated with Bharat Sevashram Sangha since 1987 and played a significant role in its operations.
For three years, he served as the secretary of the Jamshedpur branch of the Sangha.
Additionally, he was in charge of the organization’s leprosy project, which provided vital services to those affected by the disease.
His funeral will be held at Bistupur Parvati Ghat tomorrow.
The funeral procession is scheduled to leave for Parvati Ghat between 9 and 9:30 AM.
