JAMSHEDPUR – A tribute ceremony was held to honor Martyr Sabuwa Hansda on his 37th death anniversary, organized by Baharagora MLA Sameer Mohanty at his ancestral village, Kerukocha.
The event saw the presence of state ministers Ramdas Soren and Deepak Birua, along with West Singhbhum MP Joba Majhi, and MLAs Savita Mahato and Mangal Kalindi.
The leaders paid homage by placing flowers on the martyr’s memorial, remembering his sacrifice for the protection of Jharkhand’s forests, land, and water.
The ceremony was followed by a public meeting attended by thousands of villagers.
In their addresses, the ministers and leaders praised Sabuwa Hansda as a heroic figure who gave his life to protect the natural resources of Jharkhand.
They reaffirmed the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha’s (JMM) commitment to upholding the ideals of the martyrs.
"The Hemant Soren government has fulfilled the aspirations of all sections of society through schemes like Abua Awas, Maiya Yojana, Sarvajan Pension Yojana, and Mukhyamantri Gambhir Bimari Yojana," stated one of the speakers.
They also highlighted that the current government has completed the tasks left unfinished by the previous BJP administration within just five years.
The leaders expressed confidence that the JMM will be re-elected in the upcoming elections due to its successful governance.
