Power board reshuffle: GM Shravan Kumar moves to Ranchi, Ajit Kumar takes charge

JAMSHEDPUR – A major reshuffle in the electricity department sees key officials transferred and promoted in Jamshedpur and Ranchi.

Shravan Kumar, the General Manager of Electricity in Jamshedpur, has been transferred to Ranchi headquarters as GM APT.

Kumar served as GM in Jamshedpur Area Board for two years.

His tenure was marked by significant revenue growth for the electricity board.

Under his leadership, the board achieved a monthly revenue of around 100 crore rupees in the past year.

Kumar will be remembered for his excellent team leadership in revenue collection.

Meanwhile, Deepak Kumar, who served as Electrical Superintending Engineer of Jamshedpur Circle for over three years, has been transferred.

He will now take on the role of Deputy General Manager (System Operation and Work) in Ranchi.

In addition to his new responsibilities, Kumar will also oversee the position of General Manager Distribution Network at Ranchi headquarters.

On the other hand, Ajit Kumar, previously the Deputy General Manager (Purchase and Store) in Ranchi, has been promoted.

He will now serve as the new General Manager of the Jamshedpur Area Board.

Notably, Kumar has prior experience working in Jamshedpur Circle as Executive Electrical Engineer in the Adityapur Electrical Division.
