Vande Bharat Express to Connect Tatanagar and Patna
New high-speed train service cuts travel time to just 6 hours 50 minutes

JAMSHEDPUR – A new Vande Bharat Express train is set to revolutionize travel between Tatanagar and Patna, offering a faster and more efficient journey for passengers.
The Tata-Patna Vande Bharat Express will depart Tatanagar at 5:30 am daily.
Passengers will reach Patna Junction by 12:20 pm, completing the journey in under 7 hours.
The train will make stops at Muri, Bokaro, Gomo, and Gaya along its route.
For the return journey, the express will leave Patna at 2:15 pm.
It will arrive back in Tatanagar by 9:05 pm, maintaining the same intermediate stops.
Temporary Changes at Tatanagar Station
In preparation for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit, Tatanagar station is implementing security measures.
The parcel service at the station will be suspended until September 15.
Entry to the station will be restricted to the second gate only.
The main gate will remain closed during the Prime Minister’s presence.
A railway official stated, "We are prioritizing security for the Prime Minister’s visit while minimizing inconvenience to passengers."
Passengers can access platforms two through five using stairs near the GRP police station.
No entry will be allowed on platform one or through the main gate during Modi’s visit.
New Parking System
A new parking system at Tatanagar station will commence from September 13.
Vehicles will be parked in the designated front area of the station.
The station premises will be cleared to ensure tight security measures.
"We’re implementing these changes to enhance safety and streamline station operations," explained a senior railway official.
Full access to the station will resume after the Prime Minister’s departure.
