JAMSHEDPUR – Members of the Mukhi community in Jamshedpur held a rally demanding an easier process for obtaining caste certificates.

The rally, organized by the Mukhi Samaj Jharkhand, culminated in a protest at the district headquarters.

Protestors carried banners and posters, raising slogans to voice their demands.

The Mukhi community representatives argued that the current requirements for caste certificates are difficult to meet.

They pointed out that many members have been living in the city for 50 to 100 years, having migrated for jobs long ago.

Because of this long urban residence, they find it challenging to provide the required documents.

The community is urging the authorities to simplify the process so they can benefit from government schemes.
