CHAIBASA – MP Joba Majhi inaugurated the renowned Ganesh Puja pandal and fair in West Singhbhum district, marking its 25th anniversary.

The festivities kicked off with a vibrant welcome ceremony for the esteemed guests. Nagada and dance troupes from Baharagora captivated the audience with their performances.

"This celebration embodies the spirit of unity and peace in our community," remarked MP Joba Majhi during the inaugural address.

The event, scheduled to run until September 18, promises a blend of cultural and religious activities. Local officials, including BDO Shakti Kunj and DSP Jaideep Lakda, graced the occasion with their presence.

Ranjit Yadav, vice-chairman of the district council, shared insights into the pandal’s illustrious history. He congratulated the residents of Manoharpur on this milestone achievement.

"We’re thrilled to see the community come together for this silver jubilee celebration," stated Puja Kujur, Mukhiya of Manoharpur Panchayat East.

The inauguration ceremony saw attendance from various local dignitaries and community leaders. They collectively emphasized the festival’s role in fostering communal harmony.

Organizers have planned an array of events to mark this significant milestone. The pandal is expected to draw visitors from across the region in the coming days.
