Railways Launches Festival Special Trains for Patna-Secunderabad Route

JAMSHEDPUR – Indian Railways announces new Festival Special trains connecting Patna and Secunderabad to meet increased passenger demand during the upcoming festive season.
The Patna-Secunderabad Special will depart bi-weekly from October 14, 2024.
This service will run every Monday and Wednesday until December 30, 2024.
The train leaves Patna at 15:00 hrs, reaching Secunderabad at 03:30 hrs.
Hyderabad-Patna Special starts operations on October 16, 2024.
It departs Hyderabad every Wednesday at 22:50 hrs, arriving in Patna at 11:30 hrs.
This service continues until January 1, 2025.
Secunderabad-Patna Special begins its journey on October 18, 2024.
The train will run every Friday until December 27, 2024.
It departs Secunderabad at 21:00 hrs, reaching Patna by 09:30 hrs.
All trains will stop at major stations within South Eastern Railway jurisdiction.
Key stops include Bokaro Steel City, Ranchi, Hatia, and Rourkela.
"These specials will ease festival travel for passengers," a railway official stated.
The initiative aims to enhance connectivity during the busy festive period.
