Cancellations and Diversions Affect Multiple Train Services in September

Adra Division undergoes developmental works, causing train cancellations, short terminations, and diversions from September 9-15, 2024.

JAMSHEDPUR – In September, the implementation of developmental works by the Adra Division will result in schedule adjustments that will affect multiple train services. This will affect railway passengers.

The 08680/08679 Adra-Midnapore-Adra MEMU Special is subject to cancellation on specific dates.

Numerous trains will short-circuit and depart from Adra station.

Services that are impacted include the Tatanagar-Asansol, Kharagpur-Hatia, and Asansol-Purulia routes.

The 18601 Tatanagar-Hatia Express will operate on a diverted route that includes Chandil, Gunda, and Muri in Bihar.

The objective of these modifications is to enable the Adra Division to implement essential infrastructural enhancements.

It is recommended that passengers verify the most recent schedules prior to their departure.

According to a railway official, "We apologize for any inconvenience that may have resulted from these essential modifications."
