Minister addresses sanitation, infrastructure, and public welfare schemes in key meeting
State Health and Food Supply Minister Banna Gupta conducted a comprehensive review meeting with multiple government departments to address various issues and expedite ongoing projects in Jamshedpur.
JAMSHEDPUR – Minister Banna Gupta led a multi-department review meeting to address development issues and accelerate ongoing projects across Jamshedpur.
The review session encompassed discussions with the Mango Municipal Corporation and Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee.
Gupta emphasized the importance of enhancing sanitation and lighting infrastructure in these areas.
Officials were instructed to increase the number of sanitation workers and improve street lighting.
The Energy Department was directed to replace outdated electric poles, wires, and earthing systems.
Gupta stressed the need for installing 200 KVA transformers and laying underground cables in the Jamshedpur West Assembly constituency.
Addressing the Drinking Water and Sanitation Department, the minister secured approval for additional motors for the intake well.
He instructed the construction of public water tanks in areas lacking adequate drinking water supply.
Road construction projects were reviewed, with Gupta urging officials to expedite a Rs 25 crore scheme in Jamshedpur (West) Assembly constituency.
The minister emphasized the importance of completing Jamshedpur’s first under-construction flyover to alleviate traffic congestion.
Gupta directed the Food Supply Department to address difficulties in obtaining ration cards and expedite pending applications.
"It is crucial that the benefits of government schemes reach all, particularly the poor," stated Minister Banna Gupta during the meeting.
The minister concluded by stressing the need for accountability and sensitivity from all departmental officers in serving the community.
