VHP Jamshedpur Celebrates 60th Foundation Day

Religious leaders and spiritual guides grace event at Michael John Auditorium

The Vishva Hindu Parishad’s Jamshedpur chapter marked its 60th foundation day with a grand celebration attended by spiritual leaders.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) Jamshedpur Metropolitan branch celebrated its 60th foundation day with great enthusiasm at the Michael John Auditorium, guided by religious leaders and spiritual mentors.

The event commemorated VHP’s establishment on Janmashtami in 1964, founded with the blessings of Hindu spiritual leaders and philosophers.

Chief guest Sanat Singh Sardar, a prominent tribal community leader, graced the occasion with his presence.

VHP Central Officer and guide Jagannath Shahi attended the celebration as a key figure.

Chandrakant Raypat, President of VHP Jharkhand Province, was among the distinguished guests at the event.

The gathering saw participation from various religious and social organizations, including representatives from the Bharat Seva Ashram, Ramakrishna Mission, ISKCON, and Brahma Kumaris.

Buddhist, Sikh, and Jain community leaders also joined the celebration, emphasizing interfaith harmony.

Members of the Akhada Samiti and Puja Samiti were present, showcasing the event’s broad spiritual representation.

The ceremony included the presence of media personnel, social workers from various fields, and members of women’s organizations like Durga Vahini.

VHP Jharkhand’s Special Contact Chief Arvind Singh and Provincial Organization Secretary Devi Singh attended the function.

Arun Singh, the Divisional Co-Secretary, and Subhash Chatterjee, the Ghatsila Organization Secretary, were also part of the celebration.

The event highlighted VHP’s role as a social and cultural organization for Hindus worldwide since its inception.

Ajay Gupta, the District President, and Chandrika Bhagat, the District Secretary, played key roles in organizing the celebration.

The foundation day served as a platform to reinforce VHP’s commitment to Hindu cultural preservation and social service.
