Kho Kho Officials Trained in Jamshedpur Seminar
One-day event sees 21 technical officers certified at New Baradwari school
East Singhbhum District Kho Kho Association organized a successful training seminar for technical officials in Jamshedpur.
JAMSHEDPUR – The East Singhbhum District Kho Kho Association conducted a one-day seminar and training session for technical officials at a school in New Baradwari on September 1.
Gopal ji, Secretary of the Jharkhand State Taekwondo Association, inaugurated the event.
Former international athlete NC Dev attended as the special guest.
The training camp attracted numerous physical education teachers from various schools across the city.
Former Kho Kho players also participated enthusiastically in the event.
Chief trainers included Subodh Chatterjee, Technical Head of the East Singhbhum District Kho Kho Association, and Ajay Mahanti, Technical Officer of the West Singhbhum District Kho Kho Association.
Baru Sinku and Dayal Singh Nehra also contributed as trainers for the session.
The training was structured into three categories, covering both theoretical and practical aspects of Kho Kho officiating.
Participants underwent theoretical classes, followed by a practical session and examinations.
Out of 32 technical officers participating, 21 successfully completed the training.
Saryu Rai, Honorable MLA of Jamshedpur East, attended as the chief guest for the closing ceremony and awarded certificates to successful participants.
Key contributors to the event’s success included Victor Vijay Samad, Secretary of the East Singhbhum District Kho Kho Association, and Treasurer Shyam Kumar Sharma.
Principal Chandradeep Pandey of Plus People’s Academy New Baradwari served as a special guest at the closing ceremony.
