JAMSHEDPUR – Construction of the 2.8 km flyover over the Mango Subarnarekha River has been accelerated, with workers aiming to complete the project in the next 18 months.
The elevated road will stretch from Blue Bells School on Mango Dimna Road to New Purulia Road, spanning the Subarnarekha River.
The flyover’s endpoint will be at Gandhi Ghat, creating a crucial link across the river.
A total of 55 pillars will support the structure, with the first pillar’s testing now complete.
The flyover is designed to stand 10 meters high, aiming to significantly reduce traffic congestion in the area.
Contractors are using high-quality materials to ensure the durability and safety of the flyover.
Round-the-clock work is underway at the construction site to meet the ambitious deadline.
Once completed, the flyover is expected to provide substantial relief to local commuters.
