Police Officer Accused of Misconduct Against Union Leader
Mukhi Samaj and Jharkhand Mazdoor Union file complaint with SSP Kishore Kaushal
A formal complaint has been lodged against a Telco police station in-charge for alleged abusive behavior towards a union leader.
JAMSHEDPUR – A delegation led by Hari Mukhi, Central Mukhi Samaj President, filed a complaint with SSP Kishore Kaushal against a Telco police station in-charge for alleged misconduct.
The incident reportedly occurred on August 28, 2024, at Durga Tea Shop in Kharangajhar.
Kishore Mukhi, city president of Mukhi Samaj and a Jharkhand Mazdoor Union leader, was allegedly subjected to abusive behavior by station in-charge Shelendra Kumar.
Hari Mukhi expressed concern that such behavior not only affects the dignity of union leaders but also raises questions about the treatment of ordinary citizens.
The complainants met with the DSP Headquarters to further discuss the issue following their meeting with the SSP.
SSP Kishore Kaushal has taken the matter seriously and assured appropriate action will be taken.
The police official’s alleged unwarranted aggression has sparked worry about his conduct towards the general public.
Kishore Mukhi stated that the incident severely affected his dignity.
The delegation included Jharkhand Mazdoor Union Vice President Rajesh Samant and other members.
