Jamshedpur Co-operative College will host a theatre workshop and stage a play focusing on current education system challenges.
JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur Co-operative College is set to organize a theatre workshop culminating in a play that tackles issues within the contemporary education system.
The decision to stage the play was made during a meeting led by Dr. Amar Singh, Principal of Jamshedpur Co-operative College.
Key faculty members from various departments attended the meeting, including Dr. Sanjay Yadav, Dr. Antara Kumari, Dr. Swati Soren, Dr. Ruchika Tiwari, and Dr. Ashok Kumar Rawani.
Shri Ravi Kant Mishra, Creative Head of Theatre, was also present at the gathering.
The workshop, organized by Astitva The Mirror Theatre Group, aims to engage students interested in theatre and acting.
Participants will receive daily acting training sessions over a 15-day period, with each session lasting three hours.
The training will incorporate various theatre games to enhance acting skills in an enjoyable and interactive manner.
The workshop will conclude with a 30 to 45-minute play performance, showcasing the talents developed by the students.
The theatrical production will address existing imbalances and issues within the current education system.
This initiative demonstrates the college’s commitment to fostering creativity and critical thinking among its students.
