Bokaro police, led by Chas SDPO, uncover a mini illegal liquor factory operating in Gosaidih; two arrested, large quantities of materials seized.
A mini illegal liquor factory was uncovered in Gosaidih, Baramsiya, under the leadership of Chas SDPO Praveen Kumar Singh during a press conference.
BOKARO – Chas SDPO Praveen Kumar Singh revealed the discovery of a mini illegal liquor factory operating in Gosaidih, Baramsiya, during a press conference at the Baramsiya OP premises.
The operation was initiated following a tip-off received by Bokaro SP about an illegal English liquor factory being run at the residence of Shambhu Kumar Manjhi in Gopinathpur, Gosaidih.
Acting on the instructions of the Bokaro SP, a team was formed under the leadership of SDPO Praveen Kumar Singh, including Chas Police Inspector Mohammad Khurshid Alam, Baramsiya OP in-charge Kaushalendra Kumar, Rahul Singh, Ranjit Kumar Chaudhary, Shiv Shankar Prasad, Ravindra Manjhi, Parvez Ashraf, and Bablu Bauri.
The team conducted a raid at the specified location, resulting in the seizure of a large quantity of sealed illegal English liquor, empty bottles, liquor-making machinery, and other related materials.
Two individuals, Shambhu Manjhi and Sahdev Manjhi, were arrested and sent to jail.
Another person involved in the operation, Ankit Kumar from the Chas police station area, is also expected to be arrested soon.
Cases have been registered against the accused in the Chandanakiyari Baramsiya OP.
Seized Items:
– 862 bottles of various brands of foreign liquor filled with illegal liquor
– 2210 empty bottles of various brands of foreign liquor
– 01 liquor-making machine
– Approximately 5,000 labels of various liquor companies
– Approximately 20,000 caps of various liquor bottles
– Approximately 50 liters of spirit used in liquor production
– 02 drums used in liquor making
– 02 pipes with motors used for filling bottles
– Approximately 100 liters of prepared illegal English liquor in gallons
– Various chemicals and dyes used in liquor production
The discovery of this illegal operation has dealt a significant blow to the illegal liquor trade in the region.
