Four New Roads Approved for Jamshedpur Rural Areas at Mangal Kalindi Initiative
₹16.52 crore project to boost connectivity in Bodam, Patamda, Jamshedpur blocks
Rural Works Department greenlights construction of four key roads under Mukhya Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Rural Works Department has approved the construction of four crucial roads in Bodam, Patamda, and Jamshedpur block areas following Jugsalai MLA Mangal Kalindi’s recommendation.
The project, part of the Mukhya Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna, aims to enhance rural connectivity.
Patamda block MLA representative Chandrashekhar Tudu revealed that Kalindi met with the Chief Minister and departmental minister during the monsoon session to advocate for these roads.
A 3.5 km stretch from Bamangora Shiva temple to Sarjamda Shiva temple via Sopodera to EGL Chowk in Jamshedpur block will be constructed at a cost of ₹2.84 crore.
In Patamda, a 7.5 km road connecting Rajabasa to Tilaitan via Jerka will be built for ₹9.80 crore.
The project includes a 1.1 km road in Bansgarh Sabar Tola, estimated at ₹1.70 crore.
A 2.1 km road from Gedua to Kolabani Chadai in Bota Panchayat of Bodam block will be constructed for ₹2.18 crore.
The total investment for these four road projects amounts to ₹16.52 crore.
These new roads are expected to significantly improve rural infrastructure and accessibility.
The approval marks a positive step towards rural development in the Jamshedpur region.
Local residents anticipate better connectivity and improved quality of life once the projects are completed.
