Pappu Sardar Celebrates Raksha Bandhan with Special Children, Honors Madhuri Dixit’s Mother

Jamshedpur’s brand ambassador visits Cheshire Home; plants tree named after Madhuri Dixit’s mother.

On Raksha Bandhan, Pappu Sardar, Jamshedpur’s brand ambassador and a devoted fan of Madhuri Dixit, celebrated the festival at Cheshire Home, where he followed his annual tradition of having special children and sisters tie rakhi on his wrist.

JAMSHEDPUR – Pappu Sardar, known for his deep admiration for Madhuri Dixit, visited Cheshire Home in Jamshedpur to celebrate Raksha Bandhan, a festival symbolizing the bond between brothers and sisters.

"There’s nothing more fulfilling than celebrating Rakhi with these sisters," Pappu Sardar shared. "My hands are covered in rakhis, and I’m honored that so many sisters tied them for me. Even Madhuri Dixit sent me a rakhi."

Continuing the tradition, Pappu Sardar planted a mango sapling at Cheshire Home, naming it "Mataji Sneh Lata" in tribute to Madhuri Dixit’s mother, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative of planting a tree in honor of mothers.

Sister Daisy, who was present at the event, said, "We are overjoyed that Pappu Sardar comes here every year to celebrate Rakhi with us. The tree planted in honor of Madhuri Dixit’s mother will stand as a symbol of care and support for us."

She added, "The special children here eagerly wait for his visit every Raksha Bandhan. His presence brings immense joy to them."

The children also presented Pappu Sardar with a cup featuring Madhuri Dixit’s picture as a token of their appreciation, highlighting the bond they share with him.
