BJP Leader Vikas Singh Reignites Controversy Over Viral Video of Health Minister Banna Gupta

Vikas Singh, BJP leader, defends sharing viral video of Jharkhand Health Minister, threatens statewide exposure if FSL report is delayed.

The controversy over the viral video involving Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta has been reignited as BJP leader Vikas Singh receives a fresh notice from the Cyber Police Station.

JAMSHEDPUR – A year and a half after the controversial video of Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta went viral, the issue has resurfaced following a new notice sent to BJP leader Vikas Singh by the Cyber Police Station.

The video, which had caused significant embarrassment for the minister, had remained a topic of contention.

Vikas Singh, upon receiving the notice, visited the Cyber Police Station, where the officer-in-charge, Srinivas Prasad, questioned him about his role in circulating the video.

Singh openly admitted to sharing the video, stating, "Yes, I shared the video, I am sharing it, and I will continue to share it."

He further challenged the authorities, questioning the delay in the FSL report on the video, which he claimed was a screen recording from a mobile phone.

Singh accused the district administration of harassing him and his family under pressure from Minister Banna Gupta, stating that the repeated notices were causing them mental distress.

In a bold statement, Singh demanded that if the police had any grounds to arrest him, they should proceed instead of issuing repeated notices.

He also threatened to publicly display the video across the state using projectors and screens if the FSL report was not released soon.

Singh claimed to possess additional audio recordings of the minister, which he vowed to release at the appropriate time.

He accused Minister Banna Gupta of abusing his power and likened the situation to the proverbial "pot calling the kettle black."

Singh concluded by declaring that, just as Mahatma Gandhi uttered "Hey Ram" with his last breath, he would continue to assert that the video involving Banna Gupta is 100% genuine until his last breath.

The escalating situation highlights the ongoing political tensions in Jharkhand and the potential for further controversy as the case develops.
