Saryu Roy Honors India’s Hero Khudiram Bose in Jamshedpur

BJM members pay tribute to young revolutionary on martyrdom day

Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy and Bharatiya Jantantra Morcha members commemorate the sacrifice of freedom fighter Khudiram Bose at Mango.

JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur East legislator Saryu Roy, along with Bharatiya Jantantra Morcha (BJM) members, paid floral tributes to Veer Khudiram Bose on his martyrdom day in Mango.

Roy reflected on Khudiram Bose’s revolutionary journey, which began at the age of 18 in Kolkata.

"Driven by a deep resolve to dismantle the oppressive British regime, Bose carried out the famous bombing incident against a British official," Roy stated.

The MLA recounted that Bose was arrested and executed at the young age of 19 on August 11, 1908.

Khudiram Bose’s involvement in the Swadeshi movement in Muzaffarpur was highlighted during the tribute.

The event was organized under the leadership of BJM Ulidih Mandal President Prem Saxena and District President Subodh Srivastava.

Notable attendees included Kulwinder Singh Pannu, Sanjeev Acharya, and Dharmendra Prasad.

Praveen Singh, Akash Shah, and Kanhaiya Ojha were also present to pay their respects.

Other BJM members in attendance were Rajan Rajput, Santosh Bhagat, and Sheshnath Pathak.

Raghavendra Singh, Mankeshwar Pandey, and Indu Shekhar Singh joined the tribute ceremony.

Neeraj Sao, Abhijeet Senapati, and Ashok Singh were among the dedicated workers present.

Yogendra Sahu and Sagar Dutta also participated in honoring the young revolutionary’s memory.

The event served to remind attendees of the sacrifices made by young freedom fighters during India’s struggle for independence.

Roy’s presence underscored the continued importance of remembering historical figures like Khudiram Bose in modern Indian politics.
