Eye Camp and Government Scheme Drive Draws Large Turnout in Sakchi

Sakchi Gurudwara Management Committee organizes a successful camp offering government scheme registration and free eye examinations to local residents.
JAMSHEDPUR – A camp organized by the Gurudwara Management Committee in Sakchi saw a large turnout, with 127 people availing government scheme benefits and 78 undergoing eye examinations.
The event, held in collaboration with Purnima Netralaya and NGO Vijay Sena, aimed to raise awareness about government schemes among Sakchi residents.
Sardar Nishan Singh, president of the Sakchi Gurudwara Committee, honored key contributors to the camp’s success.
Dr. Rali, Dr. Shikha, Fauzia, and Simran Kaur Bhogal were among those recognized for their efforts.
Vijay Singh Soy, Akash Srivastava, Harsh Kumar, Rahul Kumar, Sameer Kumar, and Rohan Kumar also received commendation for their roles.
The camp, running from 10:30 AM to 3 PM, provided on-site registration for various government schemes.
Services included ration card, Ayushman card, voter card correction, ABHA card, and pension schemes for the elderly and widows.
Vijay Sena officials provided essential information about these schemes and guided attendees through the application process.
Purnima Netralaya conducted free eye examinations, identifying nine cataract patients who will receive prompt treatment.
The event attracted participants not only from Sakchi but also from surrounding areas.
