SDSM School Hosts ‘BLAZE’ Inter-School Competition

Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya crowned Overall Champions

S.D.S.M. School for Excellence’s ‘BLAZE’ event brings together 750 students from 27 schools to promote environmental awareness.

JAMSHEDPUR – S.D.S.M. School for Excellence organized its mega inter-school event ‘BLAZE’ on Saturday, August 10, 2024, focusing on the theme of Sustainable Environment.

The event featured nine diverse competitions, attracting approximately 750 students from 27 local schools.

Sunita Sinha, Creative Director of Kavyapta Global School, inaugurated the event, highlighting the importance of individual effort and teamwork.

Principal Moushumi Das welcomed participants, emphasizing the value of participation over winning.

Competitions included Fashion Show, Pot Making, Mandala Art, Pencil Sketch, Group Dance, Group Song, Character Enactment, Model Making, and Heritage Quiz.

Social worker Sangitar Behera presented awards to the winners during the valedictory function.

Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Telco emerged as the Overall Champions, with Sacred Heart Convent School securing the Runner-Up position.

St. Mary’s English High School received recognition for Maximum Participation in Events.

The event aimed to celebrate creativity while promoting environmental awareness among Jamshedpur’s school students.

‘BLAZE’ concluded with a Vote of Thanks and the National Anthem, marking a successful inter-school competition.
